Who is behind Blissful Inspirations Cakes?
Hi, I’m Helen Hatzaras, Director, Owner, and Cake Artist of Blissful Inspirations Cakes, an award-winning luxury cake studio specialising in bespoke, one-of-a-kind wedding cakes and custom-designed creations for every occasion.
My love of baking began in my mother’s kitchen, learning to make traditional Greek sweets.
By my teens, I was creating all the family’s birthday cakes inspired by the vintage Australian Women’s Weekly Children’s Birthday Cake Book. Friends and family soon started coming to me for every celebration, and in 2016, I followed my lifelong dream—leaving my corporate career to turn my passion into a profession.

Every creation is completely bespoke. I personally design and handcraft each cake to reflect the couple’s unique style and vision. Every cake is a work of art, combining meticulous attention to detail, luxurious finishes, and creative artistry—no two are ever the same. I am renowned for intricate sugar and wafer flowers, refined finishes, and designs that turn cakes into unforgettable centrepieces.
How do you work with clients?
As sole owner and designer, I guide clients from concept to completion. I offer curated tasting boxes and personalised consultations—both in person and remotely—ensuring each cake is beautiful, delicious, and a treasured part of their celebration.
